Please remember, if you are in a fire prone area and have been asked to evacuate, your life is more important than your belongings. Do not stay behind to collect items. If you are aware of the risk in advance, gather important documents, clothes for several days, any medicines you are taking, your pets, and your family's medical information (including pet records). If you are evacuating to a shelter, remember to also bring several days worth of non-perishable food items. Taking a few precautionary steps as outlined above can help to ensure you and your family remain safe.
