MVR's Now Available Online Direct from TX DPS!
By Ashley Western, ACSR, MSM RMI, Commercial Business Development Manager
Texas Department of Public Safety has Recently added an online MVR feature to their website. For small business employers, this is a major improvement to the efficiency of obtaining information on employee driving records. Previously, employers were forced to allow the employee to spend hours "on the clock" at the DMV, obtaining a physical copy of their driving record. Alternatively, third party services previously offered online MVR's, but for an additional fee. Due to this new improvement to the DPS website, employers can simply ask the employee to come into their office & order a copy online. This simplified way to obtain driving records will assist in time management & cost for both the employee & employer.

You will need the driver's license information, a valid credit card, a 128 bit encryption, adobe acrobat, and a working printer, in order to successfully print & order MVR's online.
