Important Update to NCCI Modifier Delivery Methods
NCCI traditionally sent Workers Compensation Experience Modifiers to you via mail. However, they have changed this practice, and are now sending out instructions on how to dowload the modifier worksheet at no cost to you. You should receive a letter 60-90 days prior to your Workers Compensation renewal date, which will include your username and password. The letter will also outline downloading instructions.
Because most clients are not typically looking for such instructions, it may be overlooked. While we can order this modifier for you for $25, it is available to you for free online.
The fastest way to get your modifier information is to call NCCI directly. They will explain the downloading process. Their phone number is 800-622-4123. Please have your NCCI Risk ID or FEIN Number on hand during this call, as either may be used to identify your company.
NCCI is open from 7AM to 7PM Central Standard Time.
Once you obtain the worksheet, please send us a copy, so we may do our annual analysis of the information.
